Restore Your Hair
If you have this rare form of alopecia, finding replacement options can be hard
Even though it affects men, women, and children throughout the world, this form of alopecia traditionally has had very little options for hair restoration.
At World Hair Institute, we have seen pre-made solutions for people with Cicatricial Alopecia or Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia, where the hair was too bulky or heavy, which overloaded hair and gave little options to change the hair style. We have seen that not many manufacturers have provided options for people who are experiencing cicatricial alopecia/scarring alopecia or frontal fibrosing alopecia.
For that reason we created our own solution, a very lightweight, flexible solution that gives you options with styling and will blend in with your own natural growing hair.
We can help. Please schedule a consultation with us, we have examples to see, feel and try on.
Common Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia
Common Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia is a condition when a person’s hair is receding in a band-like pattern, either from temple to temple, or sideburn to sideburn.
Cicatricial Alopecia
Cicatricial Alopecia or Scarring Alopecia is a more rare disorder that destroys hair follicles by turning the follicles into scar tissue. The scars are not visual to the eye since the scarring happens below the skin. The scars do cause permanent hair loss.
It can be extremely painful for the person when the inflammation is active. Some people with Cicatricial Alopecia can also experience loss of eyebrows. Cicatricial alopecia is not contagious, it occurs worldwide in otherwise healthy men and women. It affects all ages and seldom children.
